How can we ensure that all neighborhoods, regardless of location or income level, have access to fresh foods at reasonable prices?

This comes down to the policy makers. We need people that are not afraid to go to the zoning commison, to our state represatives and legislators, and push the ideas of having areas of all neighborhoods rezoned. Not allowing fast food places to bulid in particular locations. Encourage small business to build neighborhood markets, with tax incentives. We can give a large corporation tax incentives, why can we not extend this to the little guy? I think that by having policies in place that make it easier for small markets to come back to life; we will be able to make better food choices for ourselves and our community.
