What are examples of policies and/or social reforms that would help us reduce health inequity in the state? What can be done in your city? What can be done at the community level?
Encouraging women to breastfeed their babies for at least the first year of life will help increase the mother's health and the baby's health. It's free, healthful, environmentally friendly and a stress reducer. We need more information in every business and establishment that breastfeeding helps our nation be stronger and smarter. We need more "nursing mother" areas in all buildings (and not in the bathrooms.) Thank you, Marilyn Lindsey La Leche League Leader
